Historic Central School occupies a square city block bounded by Center, Monroe, Michigan and Jefferson streets, one block south of Main Street (Highway 175) at the southwest corner of the city square. Original playground equipment occupies the campus on the south side of the building providing a play area for neighborhood youngsters.
