A 36-year-old male patient came to our hospital for swollen gums. On oral examination, there was ample of tartar in his teeth. So complete oral prophylaxis was advised. A thorough scaling and polishing was done and patient was advised chlorhexidine mouth rinse for 2 weeks and a gum astringent. Patient was having severe pain but unable to locate the tooth. Pulp vitality testing was done using electric pulp tester. The tooth in question were 34, 35, 36 and 37. With pulp testing Dr. Dilmohit Singh was able to able to locate tooth 35 and 36.
